Start 2010 in the best possible way, “Pay it Forward!

We are pleased to introduce our revised, updated 2010 website as part of our community service our “Great Give Back” for 2010. Our CTYF volunteer team decided not to send holiday cards this year, instead we invested additional resources and volunteer time to help your voices be heard more immediately and effectively on our website. We hope the changes we have made will help our website to prove to be an invaluable tool to other organizations as they work to fulfill their important missions, and to other youth and families looking to make positive changes in their own lives and their communities.

Have you ever felt like you want to make a difference?

If you are someone or know someone in your life who has had an alcohol or drug problem you understand how this issue effects all of us – in that same spirit it will take all of us to work together to change our communities. Solutions exist, science, evidence, our stories and our EXPERIENCE are all proof that RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE!

We Need Your Help to Grow:

We have learned that one person can’t do everything, but each one of us can do something to help support the growth of recovery capital in our communities. As a new organization in our infancy we certainly could use your help on any of our working committees, or delivering of our website, newsletter, and other programs and services which are in need of volunteers. Sustainability, board or volunteer recruitment, and fund-raising has been the bane of our existence, and a struggle as 2009 was a very difficult economic year and time for everyone. With the new year upon us, our perseverance has resulted in “CTYF 2010” capacity for greater direct community involvement on the website. Let’s build something together that literally puts youth and family recovery on the map!

Make an Impact!

Ring in the New Year, Make a Donation and Save Money on Taxes. Wrap up 2009 by making a donation to a cause that matters, and boost your charitable deductions at the same time. All donations made are tax deductible. Before the ball drops…it is easy as one two three!

Charity Really Does Begin at Home, In 2010 Why not make it a Family Affair?

Help us collect donations for supporting youth recovery…Involve your children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles in helping youth and families with alcohol and other drug problems. Feeling grateful for all the comforts and health you have, why not reconnect with service and do for another person? This holiday season CTYF welcomes monetary donations as always, but most of all we are looking for donations of volunteer time, goods, and services. The entire family is welcome, your children and family will never forget what they have seen and learned.

Inspiring Stories:

Here are some stories about CTYF volunteers who have found their own way of helping other youth and families in recovery. Hopefully they will get you thinking about a talent, a skill, a strength, resource or asset you have and want to share. If you have an idea kick start your own “give back” concept and let us support your unique contribution and help make it happen.
