Connect with Community

Note: Please follow our interactive guidelines when posting to any of the blogs, chats, or forums. All posts will be moderated.

CTYF Programs Connecting With Communities

No single family, program or system has the capacity to solve the growing and complex problem of adolescent substance abuse alone. Collaboration at the home, school, neighborhood, town, city, and state levels must occur to create true systems change for better prevention, treatment and recovery access.

CTYF Blog

Visit our blog that will be frequently updated, intended for public consumption. In addition to our members posts, this blog will share current links and connections to get more information about prevention, treatment, and recovery.

Group Chat

Chat live with other members of CTYF to ask questions, share experiences, and get more information about prevention, treatment, and recovery in Connecticut.

Scheduled weekly to start, Mondays @ 8:00 PM

CTYF Forums

Have an opinion? These forums are about outreach, opinion forming and collaboration using running conversations with threads, or topical connections between messages on a metaphorical "cork board". Blogs and forums have gained increasing notice and coverage for their role in breaking, shaping, and spinning news stories. This is an important feature of CTYF's advocacy work, giving voice where there was no voice, bringing key information to light, and disseminating news and information.

Share Your Own Story

We would love to hear about your success with recovery or your story of healing. Providers, teachers, and policy makers we need you to share yours as well. Tell us about prevention, treatment and recovery in your family, school, workplace, neighborhood and community. Visit the your stories section to view and comment on those who have already shared.
